Drunkard Cho's original and classy variety show that's got taste, class, and endless booze

Set in the late Tang Dynasty during Emperor Wenzong's reign, powerful eunuchs control the court. An attempted coup to overthrow the influential eunuch Qiu Ziliang fails, leading Qiu to order the massacre of Prime Minister Wang Yang’s family. Two granddaughters escape, but they are separated. Seven years later, the new emperor, Qi Yan, establishes the Purple Clothes Bureau to confront his godfather, Qiu Ziliang. Now grown, the sisters return under new identities: Qiu Yanzhi as Qiu Ziliang’s adopted daughter and Chen Ruoyun as Qi Yan’s sword-bearer. Although on opposing sides, both seek to dismantle Qiu Ziliang’s power and restore balance to the Tang Dynasty.

Soldiers of Fortune is a 1955 syndicated half hour American television adventure series. It starred John Russell as Tim Kelly and Chick Chandler as his sidekick Toubo Smith who were international adventurers. Each episode would take place in a different country. Many of the film crew had worked at Republic Pictures studios with the show filmed on Republic's backlot then used by television's Revue Productions. The show was constantly rerun on American television into the 1960s. The show was sponsored for two years by 7 Up soft drink. One year after Soldiers of Fortune was cancelled, John Russell went on to star as Marshal Dan Troup in the successful ABC/Warner Brothers western series Lawman.

On a snow-covered highway near the northern town of Kostomuksha, police find the frozen corpse of a woman in a frozen car. The victim is the wife of investigator Evgeniy Rudin. The rage that has taken possession of the hero leads him along the path of senseless cruelty, the victims of which can be both innocent people and those close to Rudin. "Elmo's World" is a fifteen-minute long segment that was shown at the end of the children's television program Sesame Street. It premiered in late 1998, as part of the show's structural changes, to appeal to their younger viewers, and to increase their lower ratings. The segment was developed out of a series of workshops that studied the changes in the viewing habits of their audience, and the reasons for the show's lower ratings. "Elmo's World" used traditional elements of production, but had a more sustained narrative. It was presented from the perspective of a three-year old child as represented by its host, the Muppet Elmo, who was performed by Kevin Clash. In 2002, Sesame Street's producers changed the rest of the show to reflect its younger demographic and the increase in their viewers' sophistication.
